On the afternoon of August 25, 2026, the online kick-off meeting for the 1st International Student Challenge under Work Package 4 (WP4) of the Erasmus+ GreenEdAsia Project took place successfully.

Key highlights of the event:

🔹 Opening Remarks: Dr. Hoang An Quoc (HCMUTE), Project Manager, introduced the GreenEdAsia project's mission.
🔹 Learning Orientation: Introduction to the Design-Based Education (DBE) method and expected learning outcomes for students.
🔹 DThU's Contribution: Mr. Pham The Hung (Dong Thap University) presented the environmental challenges in the Mekong Delta and highlighted sustainable agricultural adaptation solutions (focusing on the Shrimp-Rice model). 

🔹Real-world Challenge: A partner company introduced current environmental issues in Bangsaen (Thailand) for students to solve.
🔹 Networking: 32 multidisciplinary students from 4 universities (DThU, HCMUTE, RMUTL, and RMUTT) introduced themselves and formed teams. 

Next, the student teams will prepare for the main activities, which will take place at RMUTT (Thailand) from September 20 to 28, 2026.
